I have undergone lasic surgery for high myopia of my both eyes at Susrut hospital, Salt Lake on 29th May, 2024 under Dr. John Sarkar. It was an wonderful experience from the day one at Susrut. Each and every medical and non medical staff was very professional, helpful and courteous. Dr. Sarkar had counseled me very well before the surgery and made me understand each and every aspects of lasic surgery corresponding to the conditions of my eyes. During the surgical procedure also Dr. Sarkar kept me easy and relaxed through his verbal suggestions and encouraging words. Like many other patients of him he treated me as his own family member and his post operative assurance and care is also remarkable. Now the vision of the world is completely new to me and due to his kind efforts I have gained my vision back just like 28 years ago. I am extremely happy and pleasant to share that meeting Dr. John Sarkar at Susrut hospital and being operated under him is not less than any blessings for me.
Susrut Eye Hospital provides excellent eye care with advanced technology and skilled ophthalmologists. The staff is professional and courteous, ensuring a comfortable experience for patients. The hospital is well-maintained and clean. However, appointment availability can be an issue during busy periods. Overall, it is a trusted facility for comprehensive eye care services.
Good for eye check up. A large number of doctors are there every day. Well managed and nominal fees for regular patients.The staff and doctors are polite and explain everything in detail. One can visit here for minor or major eye issues as it offers critical eye surgeries as well.. neat and clean premises with parking facilities outside the building.

Good doctors are there. Response time is quick. The place itself is pretty clean. Parking is a bit of a problem. Pharmacy is available within the premises. It is better to take an appointment beforehand as there is a lot of rush. The place is very cheap for treatment. OPD available on sundays as well
