Did MBBS from HIMS, Dehradun. After that, DOMS (Diploma in ophthalmology) from SSMC, Bangalore. Then did short term fellowship in SICS training from RIO, Sitapur. Subsequently did Post diploma DNB from Sankara Nethralaya, Kolkata under National board of examination, New Delhi. In keeping special interest in learning Advanced Cataract surgery, pursued long term fellowship in Surut eye foundation and research centre, Kolkata and currently joined as associate consultant in same institute. Have publications in various National and international journals, apart from that presented paper and posters in state conference.
