Indira Pegu

Dr. Indira Pegu has completed her Cataract and Glaucoma fellowship from  Aravind eye Hospital, Pondicherry and had  served there as a Medical Consultant, Glaucoma Services .She has completed her MBBS,  MS Ophthalmology from Assam Medical College and  was awarded “Late Dr. Ram Labhya Memorial award” for best outgoing post graduate student in Ophthalmology . She has presented several papers ,videos  in national, international conferences and  has a number of  publications  in peer reviewed  journals. She is particularly  interested in frugal clinical  and surgical innovations and has won the CS Reshmi Award ,AIOS 2024  for the same for the video DIY in Glaucoma Procedures. Apart from academics, her passion  is painting and exploring new places and different cultures.
