Dr. Jaydeep Majumder

Dr Jaydeep Majumder did his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College and DNB from JPM Rotary Eye Hospital Cuttack. He did his long term fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery from Susrut Eye Foundation and Research Centre. He routinely performs various diagnostic procedures like fundus fluroscein angiography, indocyanine green angiography, optical coherence tomography scanning and ultrasound imaging, and gives intravitreal injections (anti-VEGF, steroids, antibiotic and tPA) for various retinal pathologies. He performs a number of vitreoretinal surgeries including external buckling surgery for retinal detachment and vitrectomies for vitreous haemorrage, advanced diabetic eye disease, dropped nucleus, dislocated IOL, intra ocular foreign bodies and endophthalmitis, as well as various macular surgical procedures like macular hole surgery, vitreomacular traction and epiretinal membrane removal. Dr.Jaydeep is attached with different ophthalmic societies and presented papers in national symposia. He has publication in national peer reviewed journal. Currently he is working as a consultant in Susrut Eye Foundation and Research Centre.
