Dr. Ayan Chaudhuri

Dr Ayan Chaudhuri passed his MBBS from Calcutta University in 1997 , DO from Assam university in 2004 and DNB from Disha Eye Hospitals and Research centre in the year 2006 He then completed long term fellowship in Cornea , Cataract and Refractive surgery from Disha eye hospital, Barrackpore in the year 2008 and then worked as a Consultant in the same hospital for 4 yrs .Following this he has worked as a senior consultant in Phaco Cornea and Refractive surgery (Lasik,ICL etc) in Vasan eye care, Currae eye hospitals (now Centre for sight) and ASG eye hospital, Kolkata. He recently moved to Susrut Eye Foundation where he works in the Phaco, Cornea and Refractive services. His special interests include Phaco (routine and complicated case) , lamellar and full thickness corneal grafts and Lasik, Prk and ICL surgeries and has 14 years of experience having performed more than 10000 phaco and 500 keratoplasty and over 100 refractive surgeries.
